Just wondering what you guys may have observed when it comes to alcohol and lack of performance. I notice it a lot with long distance running, but very little when at gym. It depends on the ammount consumed. If I f*** my body over and feel sick the next day, it takes me about a week to recover (same if I don't feel sick next day). If I drink moderately, I'll be a bit rusty the next day but otherwise ok.

easy to explain for the long distance.... 1) dehadration 2)tiredness..
for weights its not as bad since you don't relay on aerobic energy as much...
its better to not drink full stop if you want to reap 100% benefits though

I heard it's bad for the abs.. if it's bad for the abs, it surely is bad for health :p
